Like if the kids from Hollywood Arts started an emo band. Bass player and drummer not locked up together very well and singer had some intonation issues, but those seemed to get better as show went on so maybe a monitor issue? The bigger problem was that she spent WAY to much of the set talking instead of singing. That may sound awful, but it really wasn't. While it didn't always sound. Between speeches, it was a ton of fun, and we danced our asses off. One particular bright spot was a super creative guitar player with great solos and even better accompanying lines.
She was amazing and a great vocalist she had charisma and stage performance my only complaint was the space of the venue it felt was to crowded and beyond hot so it was hard to really focus on the performance without wanting to pass out but overall she sang her hit songs and it was good
Almost didn't get any merch because nowhere was it posted that it was cash only! Had to beg the doorman on hands and knees to let me go next door and use the atm! Luckily all the staff was understanding, as they were caught off guard as well. Almost ruined what was otherwise the best show of my life!
The music was spectacular! But that's not what I really want to talk about. i want to talk about how the band made sure everyone was feeling comfortable and having a great time during the performance. That really means a lot to me, knowing that sometimes crazy things can happen at concerts.

The concert was amazing and red leather was amazing, 10/10 would 100% go again an hopefully get from row for a better view but overall it was amazing and it was beautiful and he sounded so good and I'm glad I was able to go and I'm excited to see what new songs he comes out with before he goes on tour again, he's doing a great job and he should keep going and im glad I got to see him before he blows up even more and his shows get sold out, I love red leather
Such a great show! Venue was small and intimate and very nice and clean. Doors open and show started on time with very little wait between sets. Venue also provided free water during the show which was very nice! Red Leather and Ethan Gander had fantastic performances and interacted with the crowd a lot! Highly recommend and will be seeing them both again!!
The best!!!! Little Stranger is the very BEST! OMG! I love these guys so much! So humble. So kind. So funny. So wildly talented!!! There are an absolute gift to this world! Thank you, John and Kevin! Always a pleasure and an honor to spend time with you.
I’ve been listening to Little Stranger nonstop for over a year, ever since I found them. Their talent blows me away! So happy to host their last show of the tour in SLC! So happy to see them in my home. Soundwell was fabulous as always! Best staff around! Thanks everyone for the best night ever! 🙏🥰💝😘🥰🔥🎉
Have seen this band now 4 times and each time we’ve met the fellas, gotten pics, autographs, guitar picks, etc. Last night’s show was no exception—for there early to take advantage of the Dinomart entry, got to talk to a couple of the guys, get picks and autographs, and a spot on the front row. The energy was ON, and the boys noticed. Said many times this was the best show of the tour so far! Lachlan even singled me out to the crowd remarking how I knew every word to every song and sang along with full volume, lol. At the end of the show he gave me his pick to boot! Awesome show, great time, and good memories!
Only ding I’d give was having to wait nearly an extra half hour out in the cold beyond when the doors were supposed to open. The sold-out show was high energy from both the crowd and the bands, I would definitely go see Almost Monday again !
For the past month, I have been listening to Amtrac and Caribou non-stop, so when Amtrac played a cover of Caribou's "Climbing" I lost my freakin mind! So good with the Amtrac touch.
After the show, Caleb hung out stage front to chat with fans. What a chill guy. He's every bit as cool as his music. The opener Haliski was great as well.
BJ and the boys were in prime form last night. Ripping through songs touching every era of their vast catalog! American Aquarium never disappoints! This was my 8th or 9th time seeing them, and 3rd time at Soundwell, and they just keep getting better! Cool spot with great sound. The boys will eventually outgrow this room, as the caps they’re playing elsewhere in the country are much larger but we’ll enjoy the intimacy while we can!
Myles Smith and his opener Sam Tompkins were fantastic! Myles is so talented, and he and his band create magic on stage. The concert had songs that filled my heart, he was engaging between songs, and some that had me dancing and out of breath! His energy and love for music and life was contagious. ♥️ Hope he returns to Utah!
This was an amazing show. I have been to many concerts of all kinds, but this was one of the best. They are as good or better live. True talent, perfect harmonies, great songwriting. If you get a chance to see them ,you need to! We all need to promote Trousdale.!
Badflower is my favorite band!! This was my first time seeing them play and it was an epic experience. The venue itself was just alright. I wish we could have had a special area to watch from since we purchased vip passes. But the band was so amazing and ill never forget this night!!
I’ve been to many different concerts in my life but this one has taken the number one spot. I’ll never forget it. Favorite band since 7th grade and first time ever seeing them live. It was perfect. And there couldn’t have been a better venue than Soundwell. It was so intimate I cried the whole time. PLEASE COME BACK TO SLC SOON!!!
BJ Barham and his band, American Aquarium tore the roof off The Soundwell last night! They hit the stage at 9:00pm and blazed through an over two hour set, highlighting songs from their latest record “Chicamacomico” as well as a career spanning catalog of bangers for all of us fortunate enough to be there! AA never disappoints and more than made up for the fact that the pandemic kept them away from Salt Lake City for the last 3 years. Fangawddamnedtastic as always! Thanks Fellas!
They are such talented performers. If you can see them in person, do it, it really demonstrates how incredible their vocals, instrumentals, and personalities truly are. They have tons of fun up on stage, even in Utah on a Tuesday. I think they were a little surprised how hyped we were for them. Small venue, and perfect delivery.
The concert was incredible. After spending almost 40 hours on the road in a snowstorm, they still came out and put on a great show until after 1:00 a.m. Plus we were graced with the opportunity of watching Julien K warming up because they all barely made it to the venue after driving in a storm. The whole thing was a cool experience.
Wow vocals so on point. One of the best shows I have seen Katastro play live. Next to One love long beach 2017. Keep killin it. Come back and visit because SLC is feeling lit from your vibes. Plus I need that set list signed next show to add to my collection of yalls lists I have collected over the years. Xoxo wish I could have got a pic with you guys. Next time for sure. Come back soon
One of the best concerts I've been to in YEARS. They went non-stop playing 30+ songs, even going through the entire Betty album. My neck was sore from rocking out! Lead singer/guitarist Page Hamilton and the crew are such cool dudes for us fans, they stuck around to shake hands and sign all of our shirts/poster after the concert.
