George started off the show with a bang. So great live. Fogerty could have been playing in the 70s. Sounded amazing! Didn't miss a beat. So glad he made Nebraska a part of his venue.
Show was fantastic! Kudos to the Pinnacle Bank Arena for accommodating the change of venue on short notice. First band was the one that John Fogerty's sons are in. Heavier rock than my taste, but definitely talented. Second band was George Thorogood and the Destroyers. He's still got it - rocked the house with his cheeky bar band boogie. Then, John Fogerty opened his headliner set with a video explaining how this tour came about. Got a lump in my throat hearing what he went through to be able to perform his own music and get his prized guitar back. Now he gets to perform with his family. I'd been as anxious to hear these songs performed live as he was to perform them in front of audiences. During "Who'll Stop the Rain", we learn how that was inspired by his experience at Woodstock as photos from Woodstock are shown onscreen. While performing the song he wrote for his wife, the screen showed a collage of photos taken of them and their family, starting with their wedding day. His love for his music, his family, and the audience shone through the whole show. And it meant a lot to me that he shared so much of himself with the audience.
Mavericks were the opening act, rather than the headliner. I have always seen then when they headlined. So, their show was only an hour. Normally it's at least double that. Consequently we missed hearing a large part of their normal setlist.
Other than that, they were high energy, played together beautifully, and have the best front man in the business.
Highly recommended.
Love this band and the concert was well organized. Highly recommend seeing them in an outdoor amphitheater seating :)
REO Speedwagon and Night Ranger were fantastic! The energy throughout the show was great and it was an overall incredible experience. The only downside of the event was the way it was run by assuming Pinewood Bowl. The line to get into the venue was filled with people smoking with no regard for others but inside the venue then the staff decided to give a shit about the smoking. Also when leaving, the staff did an awful job at directing the people and cars. The would often have one instructing people to cross in front of a car while another instructing the car to not stop; this obviously didn’t go over well. Luckily no one was hit but it could’ve been handled so much better than how it was.
Weather was a bit muggy and bugs were many. It would be nice if Pinewood could arrange some of their BIG fans to sweep over the audience to keep the air moving. That said, it was an outstanding night and Michael McDonald and The Doobie Brothers did not disappoint. They were on target every song. There were some songs I had hoped they would play that they didn't but the playlist was excellent. Pinewood Bowl does an excellent job of getting people in and out. It is Nebraska's Red Rocks!

Lovely music, lovely venue, and lovely weather. FJM delivered the goods. It's too bad the audience wasn't more enthusiastic.
Mavis is 84 years old, and STILL killing it! I hope to be doing this when I’m 84!
I LOVE GARY ALLAN!!!!! I've seen him a couple other times and he never disappoints!
What is there to say but WOW!!!
It has been awhile since I have seen him in concert and he still knows how to put in an amazing show! It was so good to hear all the hits that made him a star. I will definitely see him again in concert whenever he comes around here again.
Gary was absolutely amazing just like he always is every single time I have seen him. I look forward to seeing him again in the future!!
Fun time but a bit shorter then I expected. Still a great show!!!
hands down beat show I've seen from the opening band to the Dirty heads. disappointed in myself it took me this long to see them live. can't wait for the next show.🤟🤟
Amazing show! The band sounded amazing and the performance was impressive. I would drive anywhere to see them again!
First time seeing Jack White and he did not disappoint! Awesome set list, he treated us to several gems from his library of kickass music projects!!
High energy stage show complimented by light and video board effects. I’ll definitely plan to catch another show! Thanks for dropping by Lincoln.
She was awe inspiring. I just wish she would interact with the crowd more.
Crowd went crazy. He is a performer and really had the crowd into the entire show.
Freaking blew my mind!!!! Such an astounding stage presence. I was front row with two of my gal pals:))
Awesome show! Frampton still can play. I liked it when he played the blues with Steve Miller. Peter Frampton was the first concert I saw in 1976 Omaha Civic Auditorium with Gary Wright.
