Superb. Such a joyful, life affirming experience. Completely perfect. And Get Down Services are completely hilariously brilliant
This was an incredible gig! Quite honestly mind blowing. I've seen Temperance Movement many times and 5 years ago thought i'd never get to see them again. It was emotional, amazing and truly special. Big shout out to Sam Palladio as well who was awesome!
Corey Kent is such a good live performer. Obviously, he loves what he does, and he's so good at it. Can't wait to see him on bigger stages.
Amazing!!
So sad these guys are splitting up.
They put on such a good show and should have the world at their feet
The wonderful julia holter was in fine form on stage. The band were great supporting her rich, expressive and melodically intricate songs. Special shout out to the percussionist.
Would have preferred a seat for some of this but this venue is standing room only.
Amazing songs, sound was a mixed bag I've heard them with better before. Played a great set, couldn't ask for much more.
Gig of the year. You come to Bristol and invite Adrian Utley to join you for half the set, you've got friends for life.
Write a review!!!…😬….they were fantastic - though I had hoped they were going to play more or the earlier song.
LOVE THE PARK!
Great gig.
Absolutely brilliant live and had a lovely chat and signed my album afterwards.
A wonderful intimate acoustic set from Morgan and Clint Wells. The venue and stage set up made it feel more like an evening around a fire with songs and chatter. The relaxed atmosphere, laughter at stories between songs, banter between Morgan, Clint and the audience was the perfect backdrop to a set of soulful, beautifully played and sung songs. Hearing the songs in their acoustic versions brought a whole new perspective and new enjoyment to favourite songs.
A mention too to Kat Hasty who was great in support.
Overall a fabulous evening of wonderful music in a great venue.
She never fails to deliver an excellent show - come back to the UK soon
Great show. Morgan Wade was fantastic. The venue scores a 3 out of 10. Doubt I will go there again. Porta loos were locked so queuing guests had no facilities available. The venue had very poor ventilation and it got very hot. One person near me needed assistance. After this water was passed out to patrons after Morgan and Clint suggested it.
Fantastic end to the Bristol folk festival. Great venue and The Longest John's once again a very enjoyable group to see live.
It’s been quite some time since Midlake last visited these shores, but the wait has been worth it. Playing a carefully curated set of songs spanning their last four albums, they sounded better than ever as they held a packed audience in The Trinity Centre, Bristol enthralled. The six songs from this year’s ‘For the sake of Bethel Woods’ blended seamlessly with much older material. The mood of the evening felt celebratory as both band and audience expressed their mutual gratitude at being able to share such an experience again after the pandemic. With their creative juices in full flow and their playing as melodic and free as ever, let’s hope there are more albums to come and tours to promote them. Just don’t leave it so long next time, guys.
The wandering hearts are an amazing band, if you haven’t seen them live before and you love great music with great vocals and harmonies then check them out!!
Storming set. Sounded mint - the sound generated by 3 people on stage. Just superb.
A great live show from one of the rising stars of the British music scene, bringing songs off her new sophomore album to a packed and enthusiastic audience at the Trinity Centre, Bristol. Her unusual vocal style - often staccato, pulsing with the beat - and genre-defying music sets her apart from her contemporaries. She can certainly deliver on the live stage, and she appeared confident in her own abilities as the band relaxed and joked with each other. Looking forward to where she goes musically over the coming years.
absolutely electric, opening acts were super enjoyable and loved seeing Shy perform! set list was a little short, but with a few unreleased songs I didn’t mind :)
Great band! The lead singer builds a great rapport with the audience. They’re just kids living the dream. Upbeat, fun and tuneful. These boys will only get bigger!
Amazing! One of the best shows I have ever been to. It was a great intimate gig with loads of laughs and everyone singing along. Really interacted with the crowd.
