This concert was so great! Like any middle-aged woman born between the mid-70s/mid-80s, I was a huge New Kids fan at the height of their popularity and I have continued to support band member, Joey McIntyre since then. Concerts like this are one of the reasons I still enjoy attending his shows, both solo and as part of the group. The venue provides a great intimate setting that he was going for with this tour. The staff and security at The Opera House were kind and courteous and helped concert attendees make this an enjoyable experience!
Not the best Bedouin show. The opener was decent, however a bit karaoke singing to a backing track rather than a band playing originals. The boys played a few tracks from Mosaic but missed some heavy hitters from the spotlighted anniversary album in exchange for newer tracks that seemed pigeon-holed into the set. Maybe because the strange audience demographic let them down on some join-in opportunities. The band was a little disjointed; Eon and the drummer were on, but guitars and some vocals were not sitting well in the mix. Effects were somewhat off as well. Maybe a bad night for the sound crew. Vernon Maytone guesting on a couple tracks was a welcome highlight. Following Bedouin for 25 years, this was probably their worst performance, however not enough to stop supporting. Everyone has an off night.
I don’t know what’s crazier:
That, this far into their career and, my life as a metalhead, I’ve never seen this band live before. And, what seems crazier, is that they’re still this good live after all these years touring with legendary bands, that doesn’t happen too often anymore.
But, what seems even crazier than that, is, even 12 years after he’s passed away, Rob Cranny is still getting shout outs from Dark Tranquility at their shows; You KNOW you’re a big deal when you leave a hole that size in a metal scene’s community and an internationally renowned group still recognizes that you’re not at their shows after all these years later? That’s a big deal! I miss seeing that guy at metal shows, you’d always find him at one.
Unreal gig. 10/10, will do again! Much respect! 🤘🏼
The energy Nick brings on his shows is amazing!! He really loves his fans and has a super line up of songs. The different costume changes are also superb specially when your fan girling hard!
Nick was unwell that day but he performed put out a fabulous show! Great energeg all around!! Just wish the meet and greet photo sessions are 2 seconds longer because being star struck and the brain shutting down does not help when it's one flash and you got to keep moving!!
Would do it all over again any day!
HEATHEN riffing out, turn around, and not a soul moving in the venue. This world truly is fallen! Russell from S-X self-proclaiming his band as "corny" thankfully brought some much needed energy from the crowd after midway through their set. Amazing what humility can do!
As for The Opera House, the longest security metal screening I've seen yet. They are lost with their metal detectors - kinda like most of the crowd (somebody gotta tell ya LOL)
This is in contrast to Periphery a week ago where I could hardly breathe during their second song and came back with someone else's blood on my shirt.

such a wonderful experience. it feels so lovely to see musicians close to my age making art and being on stages near my home. as a vocal music student i feel very inspired by tiny habits and their harmonic complexity. everyone was harmonizing along with the band and it was truly magical. i loved hearing them tell stories and even do some of their solo work as well. i loved the new songs they sang that have yet to be released, and i really loved how they acknowledged and thanked their band members, opener, and crew members. they are so humble and kind, and i can’t wait for them to come back someday!
Loved the show!! They really gave it their all and it was epic as ever. Was blown away by there yellowcard, the used and more mashup. Such a great set!!! The platforms were the best touch and helped the people in the back really see SOTY. The merch was expensive $50 for a t-shirt!! Wish they had tap at the merch table. I was hoping for stickers, patches or buttons. The guys looked amazing and played incredibly.. just wow!!!
As usual, he’s one of the best artists to see live. He gives you everything he has and then some. Barns hung around afterwards to meet with fans, including my seven year old daughter, who he graciously oh’d and ah’d at the picture she made for him and gave her a hug, a picture and signed a set list. You can tell he truly appreciates his fans, their stories and wants to make sure he gives the best show possible. The only thing I wish was that he toured more :) It’s going to be a long wait to see him again. Thanks also to the roadie who searched the whole stage to find my daughter a set list and a pick from Barns that made the night incredibly special for her. The merch table lady was also amazing with her and I really appreciated her letting us know we could stay after the show to meet Barns, which was the highlight of my daughter’s life. Thanks guys for an amazing night we won’t soon forget. All the reviews you see about this band’s live shows are true- both shows I’ve seen are two of my all time favourites ever after seeing hundreds of shows and countless bands. See them.
Suffocation was and always will be the best! There will never be an experience greater than seeing them do what they have always done better than the rest. It’s always a pleasure meeting the guys, I wish I got to see them again in person, they’re always so loyal and kind to their fans. Terry and Charlie! Next time we smoke a fatty before the show. Thanks for being so cool and not charging fans to meet you and for being so down to earth and always sticking to your roots! You guys are the best!
This show surpassed my expectations in several ways, beginning before the show even started. The crowd had an atmosphere of love and fun that made the audience feel like one body rather than individuals. Lil 88 provided the perfect DJ set to get the crowd excited and open up mosh pits. Destroy Lonely then performed a fast paced 30 minute set of his biggest hits to date, including fan favourites off of his new album that released only a week before. Ken Carson blew the audience away with his set, providing pyrotechnics, screaming like a man possessed, and running around the stage without stopping for a full hour. This generation is the generation where people have said punk is dead, but with the new rockstars: Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Playboi Carti, and Lancey Foux (who I also got to see this year), it is clear that punk is alive and well from the fashion to the performance to the mosh pit to the fanbase. Absolutely remarkable performances from three incredible artists. 10/10 would highly recommend.
5 stars all the way. These guys are amazing musicians with an incredibly wide range of writing and playing ability. They took the audience on a roller coaster of emotion and energy that has to be experienced to be understood. I brought 5 buddy’s who new next to nothing about the band and all 5 said they are going to see them again next time - loved it! The show reminded me of the Band movie “ the last waltz” in that beautiful old theatre opera house. Anyone who likes live music should see this show. I tried to go again last night in London but could not make it. Please come back soon!
Great show! Teddy has a dreamy soulful voice, one of my faves ever, and his band/best friends are awesome. It’s my 2nd time seeing them, I wouldn’t hesitate to go again, they’re humble dudes who appreciate that they get to do their dream jobs. His original songs are improving and great, but we did miss hearing some of his awesome covers! His set was about 1.5hrs, opener was 45 minutes, doors opened at 7pm but nothing started until about 810pm, over by 1030pm. It was a perfect length for this 8 months pregnant momma in a standing room only venue (love the Opera House!)
hi -- i thought Carly was great! she sang my two favourite songs: 'never wanted to be that girl' and 'next girl.' i was up dancing and singing along to all the upbeat songs. (we actually had two of the few seats! (we're old.) my only complaint was, at times, the band drowned out her voice, especially the drums. the 'techie' should have toned it down. other than that, it was a great concert! /cathy westbrook (cwestbrook1@gmail.com).
Excellent performance by Leprous. Great setlist and the musicianship of each member was astounding. Love that they also bring a very talented cellist on board for their tours. Their support, The Ocean, was also great and worth exploring. This was my first foray back into concert going during the ongoing pandemic. Glad I picked Leprous as they didn't disappoint. I also really appreciated their beautiful tribute and dedication to the people of Ukraine.
I just want to say the Toronto show was excellent. The venue was great and the staff and security working were really great! The other bands were really amazing too! My sister and I were VIP guests. We were glad to meet the band! Herman in particular is one of my sisters guitar heroes since she also plays guitar. I really appreciate you Herman going to the left side on top of the speaker to play in front of the crowd. My sister was right there in front of you and she's legally blind. Herman doing that 4 times that night made her night even better and Herman had no idea she was even blind! You really made her have a great experience despite her disability. You also signed her guitar pick which was really cool too! She believes you passed a small fraction of your power to her lol. Thanks for the fantastic show!
This was an amazing show. As per Sabrina’s usual shows. I love how she treats her fans. It’s not like the typical celebrity/fan relationship it’s more that each of her fans she treats like her extended family. I know a lot of artist say that they have that relationship to but with Sabrina it’s different. You can clearly tell just by watching Meet and Greet videos with her. I went to this concert and after it ended she came out and took pictures with her fans outside her tour bus before she left as usual. That night security was trying to rush her back into the bus right away but Sabrina stayed with and talked to her fans for like 10 minutes straight before she had to go. That’s why I love Sabrina so much.
It was the best experience of my life and for my first concert and meet and greet.i loved it. When I met Andy he was very nice and kind. He is very intelligent I love everything about him and his music. I would love to come back again to see him. Wish the floor wasn't sticky.the other bands was nice. Wish Andy's set was just a little longer then what it was. Other then that it was Awesome.
This is the second time seeing Haken. Saw them a year or so ago when they toured for 10th anniversary Affinity. Radically different set list this time. Tunes from Vector and some other unusual choices, all played with the level of musicianship we’ve come to expect from this band. My only complaint was it seemed a bit shorter than last time. A one hour set followed by a 20 minute encore. Even if they had played another hour it wouldn’t have been enough. Great live band.
