ÖN! (The Island!) is an instrumental three-piece act from Malmö, Sweden. Drawing influences from Swedish folk music, French disco, and German krautrock – with a healthy dose of Afrobeat – their new album Eurobeat is a voyage through a reimagined Europe, with each song named after a European city. ÖN! is the love child of three seasoned musicians. They’ve made music in their own bands (Brainpool, The Mopeds) and played with acts such as A Camp (Nina Persson), Peter von Poehl, Eggstone, Florian Horwath, Vincent Delerm, and – er – Roxette.
