What a great night! The King Eddy was an excellent venue for the event. The trio had a big rock sound, and we really enjoyed the show. Old time rock that was slightly bluesy. A great selection of covers and some of their own songs too. I would definitely go see them again.

Jade Elephant Biography

Jade Elephant is a Canadian power trio that brings rock 'n' roll back to its roots. Featuring Mitchell Brady on guitar and vocals, Kyle Tenove on bass, and Taylor Miles on drums, this dynamic band combines raw energy with timeless inspiration. Influenced by a wide range of musical legends and genres, they've shared the stage with icons like ZZ Top, Collective Soul, The Cult, April Wine, and Big Wreck. Passionate about keeping the spirit of rock alive, they invite you to join them for a high-octane musical journey that will leave a lasting impression.

Known for their raw, in-your-face live performances, Jade Elephant’s debut EP “So Far” seamlessly blends their first three studio singles with live renditions of rock anthems. Covers “Funk #49” by James Gang and “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” by Vanilla Fudge showcase the band’s tightness on stage, while the extended live version of “Bad Thing” captures the band in their purest, most unhinged form. The live recordings, captured by Graham Torn at the Blues Can in Calgary, were expertly mixed by Juno Award-winning producer Russell Broom, bringing the band’s authentic sound to life.
