The Infamists Biography
The Infamists are a three-headed rattlesnake from Dallas, Texas that purveys all forms of Rock and Roll. The group was founded in a dorm room at the University of North Texas in the fall of 2012 as a result of a "Musicians Wanted" classified advertisement on Craigslist. The band has retained the same solitary lineup for over a decade and has independently released 4 full length albums, 2 EPs, and a litany of singles. Driven by the blues and channeled through a traditional power trio medium, the group has explored sounds ranging from psychedelic rock to heavy metal with an "anything goes" mentality. It is not uncommon to catch the band at both tranquil cocktail parlors and tinnitus inducing biker bars, occasionally in the same weekend. On stage, the band's setlist often peaks and winds through long psychedelic blues jams and heavy Sabbath inspired riff anthems - all accented by a native Southern twang.
