About this concert
Rattling venues and ruffling leathers since 2016, Adelaide’s Dirty Pagans have been on a fearless mission to smear their gritty, thick, hard rock energy across every stage they storm. Self-dubbed riff 'n' roll, Dirty Pagans deliver with thunderous grooves, razor-sharp guitars, soaring vocals, and a rhythm section that hits like a sledgehammer. Fresh off a national support slot for none other than Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple fame, the band is kicking into an even higher gear. With the addition of powerhouse drummer Gareth Briggs, you can expect an explosive new energy and a stage show that literally shakes walls. Their new album "Forever High" is everything the name promises: huge, heavy, and unapologetically loud. To celebrate, the boys are throwing down at Jive on Saturday, June 28th, with a monster lineup featuring QLD sleaze lords Snakebite Whiskey, local heavyweights Rocky’s Pride & Joy, and rising rock renegades The Coogees. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the chaos. - Dirty Pagans – proving time and again they’re one of Australia’s loudest, heaviest, and most unrelenting forces in rock ’n’ roll - Tickets at Moshtix.

Rocky’s Pride and Joy Biography

Adelaide’s doom rock darlings Rocky's Pride & Joy have been harnessing the darkness of their South Australian city since late 2020 by channeling their surroundings into their music to make hard and heavy grooves with fuzz drenched riffs and twisting vocals. Churches with lurid pasts, infamous murders, and macabre mysteries have informed their debut album ‘All The Colours of Darkness’, released through Italian Record Label Electric Valley Records in late 2023.

The album saw the band exploring their way through an array of doom, metal, and rock n' roll influences and was recorded live with minimal overdub at Twin Earth Recording Studio (AUS) and mastered by Simon Heyworth (UK) who has worked with artists like Electric Wizard and Nick Cave.

The album has received worldwide community and college radio support, and glowing reviews and acknowledgements from all over the globe, including Knotfest’s website. It charted at #15 on the global Doom Charts for September 2023.

In 2023 the band was a finalist nominee for the National Live Music Awards in Australia, and in 2024 they were a finalist nominee for Best Heavy Act in the South Australian Music Awards. They have played with bands such as Dozer (SWE), Grace Cummings (AUS) and Astrodeath (AUS).

2025 sees the band supporting US and UK doom heavyweights Pallbearer and Conan, as well as recording and releasing new music and performing their high energy live show across Australia.
