Robert Plant

Cirkus is a wonderful venue and, spurred-on by a hugely enthusiastic audience, Robert Plant & Saving Grace put in an inspired performance. This was my fourth time of seeing them and the best. The band is polished & professional now, and the new member (on cello) gave increased depth to the sound. Looking forward to the new album!

Absolutely loved this gig! It was intimate and the music was so enjoyable. The musicians Robert Plant surrounds himself with are a truly talented bunch. Love the direction these projects take and they are fabulous in their own right.

Unbelievably this was my first time on a RP concert and it was perfect. From the venue through the sound and of course Saving Grace. Plant was in good shape, his voice is still amazing, lots of humor between the songs and amazing harmonica playing on one song. This was a dream come true.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening in the company of very accomplished musicians and great singers. Not Led Zeppelin by any means but that is the past and this is now. Some songs from Bert Jansch, Richard Thompson and Low as well as a couple of quieter Led Zeppelin tracks. Suzi Dian’s lovely voice harmonised very well with that of Robert Plant’s. Overall a really good gig.

Incredible. I'm lucky to go to a wide variety of gigs & events, but it's not often i come away thinking that it was an honour to have watched these musicians perform...Usually wonderful, superb, great fun, yes - for all sorts of reasons: sentiment, the atmosphere/the crowd, the experience of having seen them, for having enjoyed favourite numbers live... But an honour? Rarely. And this was. Thank you for a great night. Am already looking to find last minute tix elsewhere in the country & to turn some new (very old!) listeners on to you. EXCELLENT CONCERT! Mr. Plant's vocals are sublime, mature and powerful. Alison's vocals and violin playing equally perfect, smooth, and a bit more subdued in general in comparison to Robert. The band was outstanding and really capture a vibe within the roots-rock, Americana, country blues genres. More solos desired from Alison! We love Robert Plant!

A very good show. You could tell that Robert was trying not to over-embellish with his singing, (probably to be kept in check with Allison’s harmony) but every once in a while he slipped and then glanced at Allison with apology type look. It still sounded great!

“Spoiler alert, rained out early into the show! ‘A sultry evening in Hot-lanta, GA (daytime high 98°, real feel 108) forged the perfect ambiance for an outdoor amphitheater show! It was the ‘Raise The Roof Tour’ but with no roof to raise, above us only sky. The closest I ever got to seeing Zeppelin was Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience 2X (great shows), and no tribute bands whatsoever. I had also held tickets to a canceled event with Alison Krauss and Willie Nelson do to illness back in August 2019, so it was a first seeing her. Although I don’t own a copy of either of the releases from the duo, I just knew that this was one to be experienced LIVE. Entering the park, there was the crowd I had anticipated in my mind’s eye (just a little cleaner cut), stereotypical. Several varieties of Zeppelin shirts to be seen on folks mingling through the common areas, tie dye was popular too! The stage backdrop curtain was ornate, all white vertical and draped with tan drapery above peppered with strings of hanging lights. It would later be illuminated all in a rich purple upon the band’s entrance. In addition there were what had the appearance of vintage photography lamps on tripods (2 pair and 2 to the sides 6 in all). The time was at hand for bluegrass to meet rock, rhythm and blues. A 7 piece band came on, each musician hand chosen by Plant himself and thus began what was to be a song set leaning heavy on the current release. Krauss (age 50) possessed the voice of an angel with perfect harmonies making eye contact with Plant. Plant now 73 still adorning his trademark long curly hair, sang mostly a mid-range. His voice was by no means weak (and I’ve seen weak to know it). My highlights were supposed to be, well you guessed it, the Zeppelin songs but there was to be no Plant chanting, ‘Bring it back, bring it back, bring it back’ or a classic ‘Ooo Yeah’! Nature began her light display and four songs in ‘some fine gentleman’ came on stage and told us all to take cover. Most of us waited it out in any shelter we could find. ‘One one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand, four... until the stage crew came out to pack it up, sad day. The band’s guitarist J.D. McPherson opened the show in rockabilly style with a half hour set. Postponed TBA this Fal!” by DAve (Concerts # 662, 663)

Robert Plant and Allison Krauss are a match made in heaven on stage. RP still has the Zep swagger and AK has a magical voice. The band is the cherry on top of the whole experience. What talent! Amazing.

What a delightful show by Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. In a nearly 2 hour set, songs from their two albums were punctuated by three radically reworked Led Zeppelin songs (Rock and Roll, Battle of Evermore and When the Levee Breaks). The blending of these two talented singers was nicely augmented by the crisp and cool musicianship of the touring band, which did an excellent job of combining bluegrass strains with an updated rock sound. Plant has a long standing reputation for taking his music to exotic places, and this show demonstrated that knack, particularly on “When the Levee Breaks” It would be an understatement to say this pair is a class act and not to be missed.

Robert is in fine voice. Alison is amazing as always. It’s not Zeppelin but he plays some Zeppelin tunes. A little on the mellow side but the band was great. Fun night out and I got to see them sing “ Going to Chicago” in Chicago under the moon and the Chicago skyline.

The BEST SHOW EVER!!! I have followed LZ, since 1975. Famous 1977 let down, rainout after 4 songs. Hitched a ride with friend to Tampa. In stadium by 12:30 , moved to right center really close to stage. Cool fans sharing blankets. Booze and 🤫 Was 14. Scary to think of how crazy I was. So Atlanta was a do over for me. When it started thundering and lightning, I cried, not again! Hubby said it would clear up. It did!!! Robert and the boys rocked the stadium. I’m ready to see him again 🤗💞🥰❤️🥵😷

The best concert I have ever been to. I am a huge RP fan....he is #1. First time at the Surf for a show and loved it all around. Great place great people!

My first time with RP & SSS! They were magnificent!! Hobbits playing music from the Shire! Seriously, their mix of pieces from Carry Fire- an album I love- and old Led Zepp’s songs revisited with a twist it’s pure magic. Fun & cool. Looking forwards to Bergen tomorrow night! I really hope they have plans to continue on delivering their awesome sound on and on and on. And on!!

Great combination of Zep songs, blues greats and Carry Fire tracks made it a special night. Mr Plant was on top form and seemed to be really enjoying himself with the Space Shifters. Add to the crystal clear sound that always seems to be the case at the fantastic Millenium Centre in Cardiff, it was a rare treat to see. I will remember this concert for a long time.

Robert Plant put on a fantastic show. The band performed solid together and the acoustics were awesome. Definitely my favorite show of the year! I'll see him again. I will skip the opener next time. Lucinda Williams sounded like a washed up singer in a dark, smokey, karaoke bar who they let sing the last song because they have pity for her. She sounded like she was sloshed drunk and chain smoked 2 packs of cigarettes.

In doing several Led Zeppelin classics—along with a solo hit from the 80’s(In The Mood)—it made for a special evening. New tunes from new Carry Fire album were great due to the tight band— just wish there was more than one encore..👍🏿

F A N T A S T I CRobert was at his best. Fantastic versions of great led zeppelin songs like Black Dog, Whole Lotta Love, Rock 'n' Roll ao and a fabulous mix of new songs. Great sound, great musicians and guests. A must see !!!!!

Overall performance was AMAZING!!! The atmosphere was a little different with the seats and feeling like you can't stand up. I think there should be a separate pit at the front for people to stand so the ones sitting don't get upset.

Robert Plant brought his fabulous band to Midland, TX Friday night. The show was devastating! Mixing Zeppelin classics and deep cuts with his new songs and some very tasty blues covers, Mr. Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters certainly found something to please everyone in attendance. The sold out crowd were up on their feet and kept up the ceaseless roar that sustained the energy transfer between performers and audience the full night. At one point Mr. Plant remarked "I've played 7000 concerts, and somehow I've never played here!" Keep us in mind sir, next time you are touring. I think the combination of the beautiful venue, the magnificent music and the amazing audience might make the trip into the Texas desert worthwhile.
