Micky & the Motorcars

I've been following M&MC for some time and when it popped up that they were playing in my humble burg I was blown away!! The entertainment center has a huge arcade on one side and a bowling alley on the other with a bar/restaurant/stage area in the middle. We arrived early and got a booth and had dinner and drinks. Sat through the opening act and M&MC came on at 9:00. They played for close to 2 hours and after they left the stage Micky came back out and did a solo acoustic version of "Once In A Lifetime Girl" off of the Hearts From Above album! The show was outstanding and we invited 2 couples that had not heard of them and they were loving the show! I also got a guitar pick thrown by Micky at the end of his show! Their guitar/pedal steel player is Pablo Trujillo and he is a phenomenal player. The entire band is made up of world-class musicians and singer/songwriters. The sound was great and if you get a chance to see them don't pass it up! They've got a new album dropping on June 16 and I can't wait!

This was our first time at this venue and it was great! Friendly staff and great place to watch a show. Micky and the Motorcars always put on a great show.

they are a wonderful band. I’ve seen them many times. It was very sad, as everyone said It was a school night, Wednesday evening not a lot of people showed up. They don’t know what they’re missing for sure!! ❤️

It doesn't get any better than a Saturday night at Luckenbach with Mickey and the Motorcars. Hippies, cowboys, beer drinkers, stoners, dancers, young people and old people. And The Motorcars light the place up, AS ALWAYS!

The guys were definitely on it last night! ACL Live was downstairs from the music awards and they took advantage by getting former band member to play with them. Many longtime fans there!

Great show with Jeff Crosby! They played favorites, a new song and a few old songs that I had not heard before. And of course there were a several good stories!

Great format. Quick stories with the songs . Great mix of songs from a big catalogue. A little noisy in the back of the room but everybody seemed to have a good time.

Great venue for an up close experience of bad ass bands like Mickey & the Motorcars. We loved every minute of it!! Idaho’s Best!!!

First time I’ve been to Beer City, nice venue. We drove 619 miles to see MMC, they were great as all the Braun shows are. Much thanks to Joe for helping me convince my wife to drive from Massachusetts to Challis in August and thanks Mickey for the plectrum, it’s a keeper….

one of the most amazing shows Ever!! MMC were energetic and musically wonderful in last night’s performance. they completely flipped their set list and opened with “Tonight we Ride” which is usually played late in the set or as an encore. they played “Road to you” late in the set, for the past 4 years this tune has been used as the opening song. after 90 mins they came back on stage for a 3 song encore to a celebratory response from the crowd that was so into the show!

Great show at the Duck! Although I love the full band shows, it was really nice to hear an acoustic set with Mickey, Gary and Jeff. The interview after the show was to just hilarious. Jeff Crosby is a natural comic. The Duck as always was fabulous. We had a great dinner and came home to watch the replay of the live cast! Kudos Rusty!!

Great way to spend New Year Eve! Nice venue! Mickey & the Motorcars were super as always. Opening band Jesse Dayne and the Sagebrush Drifter were very entertaining. Great voice Jesse! Thanks for being able to fill in as opening band at the last minute.

Awesome performance! Glad the whole band was able to play once the rain cleared out! Awesome jam session at the end of the set...soothed my 5yr old right to sleep!

Great line up & really great to see Pinto Bennett, a rare treat these days, who despite his age & health can really still put out some strong old time country tunes.

Awesome show had a blast and it was so awesome to see our hometown boys Dustin Schaffer and Pablo playing at Gruene Hall!

Awesome concert. Too bad the lead singer of Mickey and the Motorcars wouldn't talk to the fans at the end. Kind of a let down after seeing them perform.

Seen them several times, and they never disappoint. My first time at Sam's Burger Joint, and it is a very cool venue. The food was excellent, and the bartenders and waitresses were very polite and friendly! Overall, a fantastic experience!

Awesome show, only complaint would be that they didn't play long enough. Very nice crew selling shirts and CDs, and Mickey was exceptionally gracious about signing a sweatshirt for my niece who is a huge fan of the band. I will look forward to seeing them again every chance they come back to New England- we drove two hours to this show (maybe they could play at Infinity Hall in Norfolk, CT???) Huge 👍👍👍

Mickey and the gang never disappoint, sunshine, joe and Gary are really on top of their game!! Do not miss them if you get the chance

Best concert ever. ACL is a great venue. Can't wait to see RK and MMC again. And for the next concert at ACL.
